Egg Chicken

Collect the chickens to hatch more eggs or buy more time. The rare gold chickens are worth 6 normal chickens. Try to get a high score and be careful not to crack the eggs!

Controls:

• Use the mouse and left-click to send chickens to be spent on eggs, or right-click to be spent on more time and increase your score.
• Use esc to pause/resume the game. The pause menu can be used to see what the upgrades do.

I made this game for the GMTK Game Jam 2023, for which the theme was "Roles Reversed". I then updated this game for the Post Jam "Jam" #7.

Updates:

• Improved the controls from clicking and dragging the chickens to a left/right-click system
• Difficulty increases the longer you survive:
  • Chickens get faster
  • Timer decreases more quickly
• Upgrades can be purchased with score
  • Golden chickens appear more frequently
  • Slow down the chickens
• Minor bug fixes
